A content manager will be responsible for creating and publishing engaging content.
Editing and proofreading the content for errors will also be required.
Optimization of all content as per SEO best practices.
Collaborating with marketing and design teams to plan and develop the layout, style, etc.
Content development should be done considering the marketing’s short-term and long-term targets.
Continuously work and train writers to ensure brand consistency.
The candidate should know the content management system for analyzing website traffic and user engagement.
The content manager should manage content distribution to different channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic.
The content team should have an editorial calendar for a smooth flow of deliverables.
The content manager will also ensure law compliance, like copyright and data protection.
The person should be up to date with all the latest developments for generating new ideas to attract the audience’s attention.
Skills and Requirements
Strong writing and editing skills
Experience creating and implementing content strategies
Should have a B.Sc. (journalism, marketing) or any relevant field.
Must have worked as a content manager or in a similar capacity.
Good knowledge of MS Office and WordPress.
Exceptional writing skills in English combined with communication skills.
Should be familiar with social media.
Good knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics.
Technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing will be preferred.
The content manager should have an eye for detail, time management, and organizational skills
